Founded as recently as 1997, the company Behl GmbH with its headquarters in the Bavarian town of Stadtprozelten (district of Miltenberg) today enjoys an outstanding reputation as a manufacturer of highly efficient machines for processing granulated foam plastics. Our shape moulding machines for processing expandable polystyrene and polypropylene are produced entirely in Germany and excel with their numerous innovative features that permit significant cost reductions in the production of mouldings.
In addition to the automated moulding systems as its main product, the company Behl GmbH also offers matching accessories to go with these machines, such as filling injectors and proven peripheral products such as silo installations and pressure charging systems. We also supply all the spare and replacement parts that may be required for our proprietary machinery and most systems from other providers. Last but not least, we are also providers of the entire know-how for the concept design and planning of complete production plants.
So what makes the product range from Behl GmbH so successful? Besides the outstanding quality of our automated systems in terms of their reliability, user-friendliness and long service life, here, it is above all important to be aware of the opportunity for a particularly cost-efficient EPS and EPP production workflow, which, in view of the vast increases in the cost of energy and raw materials, can be a decisive factor in asserting your position on the market. This cost reduction is made possible, among other things, by our in-house developed process sequence involving our "Motorless Vacuum System". This ensures that the products we produce are particularly dry, which in turn allows us to reduce the time spent in the drying tunnel dramatically, or even to cut this out completely.
At least equally as innovative is our highly flexible system of adapting moulds. Being highly customizable, it is capable of adapting all the moulds already in use at the customer's. As a result of producing the steam chest almost entirely without screws, our customers benefit in the form of significant savings in the working time and maintenance costs. This screw-less mounting is realized by means of a newly developed sandwich system, which fixes steam chests, moulds and mould plates quickly and reliably.
Our machines that were originally designed primarily for the Asian market are, in comparison to rival products, more simple in terms of their construction, but do not forfeit any of their production-friendly features. The advantage here being that we can offer our automated systems comparatively inexpensively in Europe. Being readily accessible also helps to reduce their ongoing maintenance costs.
